Terra Firma Farm is entering our 6th year of After School Programs here on the Farm! Throughout the year, the farm-based after school program serves local area students each Monday through Friday. The Terra Firma Farm After School program follows the Stonington Public School Calendar for holidays, half days, vacations and cancellations.
    The After School program offers children in grades K- 8 the opportunity for fun, learning and exploration. Students arrive on the farm and are welcomed with a fresh after school snack. The children then do farm animal chores such as feeding the pigs, goats, cows, donkeys and the hens. A highlight of each day is gathering eggs from the laying hens. After chores are completed, children may participate in a range of other agriculture-based activities, including gardening, cooking, canning and preserving food, cheese- or butter-making, fiber arts, nature crafts, and much more. Other crafts and activities are scheduled to coincide with holidays and seasonal changes on the farm.

 Students are dropped at the farm after school on the school bus and must be picked up by 5:30 PM.
