Some say it’s the satisfying heft of a rustic bar in your hands, and the aromatic scent that makes you linger in the shower a little longer. Organic buttermilk adds creamy richness to the lather, while a bit of local, wildflower honey hydrates and soothes. Sleepy Moon soaps are steeped in a sense of place.

Winter incorporates local honey and maple syrup, organic herbs, beeswax, fresh goat’s milk, and buttermilk and cream from grass-fed cows as well as yolks from the eggs of her heritage breed chicken flock. Each rustic, chunky bar is entirely handmade, cut, and open-air cured to create a long-lasting, mild, and aromatic soap.
