Organic Grass-Fed Beef
Our grass fed, humanely-treated cows are allowed to roam freely and do the things cows like to do! They socialize and engage in instinctive cattle behavior such as grazing, natural rumination and foraging. They have free access to water in their pastures and in the barn. The sunshine and fresh air eliminate the need for any medications that factory farms use to maximize production. No animal by-products are given to our cows and they are during milking and calving season they are feed the best organic grain we can find. Since our cows roam freely our farm has no waste issues, the manure is retuned to the soil where it becomes fertilizer. This stress-free environment produces the freshest, cleanest beef around, now available direct from our farm to your table, freezer or oven!
Lower in Fat and Calories. There are a number of nutritional differences between the meat of pasture-raised and feedlot-raised animals. To begin with, meat from grass-fed cattle, sheep, and bison is lower in total fat. If the meat is very lean, it can have one third as much fat as a similar cut from a grain-fed animal. In fact, grass-fed beef can have the same amount of fat as skinless chicken breast, wild deer, or elk. Research shows that lean beef actually lowers your "bad" LDL cholesterol levels.
